narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “One day some meat was
brought to
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and the foreleg was offered to
him which
he liked, so he bit it with his front teeth.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ يَزَالُ النَّاسُ بِخَيْرٍ مَا عَجَّلُوا الْفِطْرَ. عَجِّلُوا الْفِطْرَ، فَإِنَّ الْيَهُودَ يُؤَخِّرُونَ " .
It was
narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
said:
"The people will remain upon goodness so long as they hasten to
break the fast. Hasten to break the fast, for the Jews delay it."
