سنن ابن ماجه
Sunan Ibn Majah is a collection of hadith compiled by Imam Muhammad bin Yazid Ibn Majah al-Qazvini (rahimahullah). It is widely considered to be the sixth of the six canonical collection of hadith (Kutub as-Sittah) of the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ). It consists of 4341 ahadith in 37 books.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ شُعَيْبٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ جَلْدِ الْحَدِّ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ .
'Amr bin Shu'aib narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that: the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade lashing for the legal punishment in the mosques.

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ شِبَاكٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ هُنَىِّ بْنِ نُوَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ أَعَفَّ النَّاسِ قِتْلَةً أَهْلُ الإِيمَانِ " .
It was narrated that 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The most decent people in killing are the people of faith.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ مَا أَبَاحَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَلاَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَلاَ عُمَرُ فِي شَىْءٍ مَا أَبَاحُوا فِي الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ . يَعْنِي لَمْ يُوَقِّتْ .

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْمُسْلِمُونَ تَتَكَافَأُ دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَدٌ عَلَى مَنْ سِوَاهُمْ يَسْعَى بِذِمَّتِهِمْ أَدْنَاهُمْ وَيُرَدُّ عَلَى أَقْصَاهُمْ " .
