Bulugh al-Maram · Book 14 · Hadith 1421

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-قَضَى بِيَمِينٍ وَشَاهِدٍ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ.‏ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ.‏ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَقَالَ: إِسْنَادُ [ هُ ] جَيِّد ٌ 1‏ .‏

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ruled on the basis of an oath and a single witness. [Muslim, Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i reported it, the latter said that it has a Jayyid (good) chain or narrators].

وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ الْلَّهُ عَنْهُمَا؛ { أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-وَأَصْحَابَهُ تَوَضَّئُوا مِنْ مَزَادَةِ اِمْرَأَةٍ مُشْرِكَةٍ.‏ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ، فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ 1‏ .‏

Narrated ‘Imran bin Hussain (rad): The Prophet (ﷺ) and his Companions performed Wudu (ablution) from a skin water container belonging to a polytheist woman [Agreed upon]. (It is an extract of a long Hadith).

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: سَمِعْتُ اَلنَّبِيَّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-يَقُولُ: { مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ, فَيَقُومُ عَلَى جَنَازَتِهِ أَرْبَعُونَ رَجُلًا, لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِاَللَّهِ شَيْئًا, إِلَّا شَفَّعَهُمْ اَللَّهُ فِيهِ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1‏ .‏

وَعَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-قَالَ: { لَا يَنْكِحُ اَلْمُحْرِمُ, وَلَا يُنْكِحُ, وَلَا يَخْطُبُ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1‏ .‏

'Uthman bin ’Affan (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “A Muhrim (one in the state of Ihram) must not contract marriage, nor help others contract marriage, nor get engaged to marry." Related by Muslim.

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- مِثْلَهُ.‏ أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّان َ 1‏ .‏

وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- { أَنَّ قَدَحَ النَّبِيِّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-اِنْكَسَرَ، فَاتَّخَذَ مَكَانَ الشَّعْبِ سِلْسِلَةً مِنْ فِضَّةٍ.‏ } أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ 1‏ .‏

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Narrated Anas bin Malik (rad): When the cup of the Prophet (ﷺ) got broken, he fixed it with a silver wire at the crack [Reported by Al-Bukhari].

وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: { صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ اَلنَّبِيِّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ مَاتَتْ فِي نِفَاسِهَا, فَقَامَ وَسْطَهَا } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1‏ .‏

Samurah bin Jundub (RAA) narrated, ‘I offered the funeral prayer behind the Prophet (ﷺ) for a woman who had died during child-birth and he (prayed) standing opposite the middle of her body.' Agreed upon.
