Three-Narrator Ahadith

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ: «خَرَجْتُ مَعَ الصِّبْيَانِ إِلَى ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ نَتَلَقَّى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ» وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً: «أَذْكُرُ مَقْدِمَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، لَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ تَبُوكَ»
English translation
Al-Sāʾib ibn Yazīd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I went out with the boys to Thaniyyat al-Wadāʿ to welcome the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ upon his return from the campaign of Tabūk. Sufyān [ibn ʿUyaynah] once narrated it as: “I remember the Prophet’s ﷺ arrival, when the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ returned from Tabūk.” Reference: Musnad Aḥmad 256
