Surah Al-Qadr

إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ ﴿1﴾

Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Predestination.

ہم نے اس (قرآن) کو شب قدر میں نازل (کرنا شروع) کیا

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ ﴿2﴾

Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is!

اور تمہیں کیا معلوم کہ شب قدر کیا ہے؟

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ﴿3﴾

The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.

شب قدر ہزار مہینے سے بہتر ہے

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ ﴿4﴾

The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees.

اس میں روح (الامین) اور فرشتے ہر کام کے (انتظام کے) لیے اپنے پروردگار کے حکم سے اترتے ہیں

سَلَٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ ﴿5﴾

(The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn.

یہ (رات) طلوع صبح تک (امان اور) سلامتی ہے
