حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ غَيْلاَنَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم اسْتَنْكَهَ مَاعِزًا .
Buraidah said. : The Prophet (ﷺ) smelt the breath of Ma’iz.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، سَمِعْتُ إِيَاسَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْجُمُعَةَ ثُمَّ نَنْصَرِفُ وَلَيْسَ لِلْحِيطَانِ فَىْءٌ .
Salamah b. al-Akwa' reported on the authority of his father: We used to offer the Friday prayer along with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and return (to our homes) while no shade of the walls was seen (at that time).

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ إِيَاسَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ الْجُمُعَةَ ثُمَّ نَرْجِعُ، فَلاَ نَرَى لِلْحِيطَانِ فَيْئًا نَسْتَظِلُّ بِهِ .
Iyas bin Salamah bin Akwa’ narrated that his father said: “We used to perform Friday (prayer) with the Prophet (ﷺ), then we would return, and we would not see any shadow from the walls in which we could seek shade.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ أَبِي، عَنْ غَيْلاَنَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَفْضَلُ مَا غَيَّرْتُمْ بِهِ الشَّمَطَ الْحِنَّاءُ وَالْكَتَمُ " .
It was narrated from Abu Dharr that: The Prophet (ﷺ) [SAW] said: "The best things with which you can change gray hair are Henna and Katam."
