أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ بِغَيْرِ إِحْرَامٍ .
It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdulla that the Prophet (ﷺ) entered on the day of the Conquest of Makkah wearing a back Imamah, without being in Ihram.

It was narrated from Jabir that:
On the Day of the Conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) [SAW] entered (the city) wearing a black turban, and he was not in Ihram.
