It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever seeks knowledge for a reason other than the sake of Allah, or intends it for a purpose other than for the sake of Allah, let him take his place in hell.…
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever learns knowledge for other than (the sake of) Allah, or intends by it other than Allah, then let him take his seat in the Fire."
