Supplication · The supplications of the Prophet, may Allah bless

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بِشْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْعُو: اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي، وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَحْمَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ، أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ.
English translation
Abu Hurayra reported, "The Messenger of , may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to use this supplication: 'O Allah, make my deen correct - it is the support of my affairs. Make my deen correct - it contains my livelihood. Make death a mercy for me from every evil.'"
