The Book of Jihad · Obligation of Jihad
- وعن عثمان رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: "رباط يوم في سبيل الله خير من ألف يوم فيما سواه من المنازل" ((رواه الترمذي وقال: حديث حسن صحيح)).
'Uthman (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: "Spending a day on the frontier in Allah's way is better than one thousand days in any other place." [At-Tirmidhi].
