Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “The last glance I cast at the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ was on a Monday. He drew aside the curtain while the people were praying behind Abū Bakr. I looked at his face and it was [as radiant] as a page of the Muṣḥaf. The people were about to move [as they thought he would join the prayer], but he motioned to them to stay where they were. Then he let the curtain fall, and he passed away before the end of that very day.”
