Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Abū Ṭalḥah was shooting arrows in front of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ would raise his head from behind him to see where the arrows were landing. Abū Ṭalḥah stretched out his chest to shield the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ and said: “O Messenger of Allah, my chest for your chest!”
